A V-day to remember – Castanet

Feb 10, 2019

A vigil is being held in Kelowna to remember indigenous women, girls and two-spirited people who have been murdered or gone missing.

Everyone in Kelowna is invited to attend on Feb. 14 at the steps of the Kelowna Law Courts at 5 p.m.

“This suspicion was confirmed in 2013, when the RCMP released a report revealing 1,181 cases of missing or murdered Indigenous women and girls.”
