Press Release

The leadership of the Alberta Foundation for the Arts is welcoming five new directors.

Government is revitalizing the Alberta Foundation for the Arts board by appointing five new directors to fill upcoming vacancies. The appointments include a new chair and vice chair, once those two terms expire next spring. The revitalized board will guide the work the foundation does on behalf of government to support the province’s arts community.

“The programs and services provided by the Alberta Foundation for the Arts are part of our commitment to the arts sector. The important work of the foundation will benefit from the experience and leadership of new board members. We thank the outgoing board members for their service and commitment to the arts.”
Leela Sharon Aheer, Minister of Culture, Multiculturalism and Status of Women
