Halifax Regional Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 16-year-old girl.
Police say Merissa Purdy was last seen in the 2400 block of Robie Street around 4:36 p.m. Friday. She was reported missing Saturday evening.
There is no information to suggest Purdy has met with foul play, but police say they are concerned for her well-being.
Purdy is described as an aboriginal female with long black hair and hazel eyes. She is five-foot-three inches tall and weighs 176 pounds.
