About 4,000 people were told to leave their homes in the Town of High Level late Monday afternoon as a wildfire moves closer to the community.
1:21 p.m. Mackenzie County issues mandatory evacuation order for those living south, southeast of High Level

A mandatory evacuation order was put in place for residents living south and southeast of High Level, as well as those south of the Bushe River Reserve due to a wildfire threat.
