OTTAWA, May 22, 2018 – On May 23 and 24th in Ottawa, Nishnawbe Aski Nation (NAN) and Osgoode Hall Law School will bring together almost 300 people to begin building solutions for moving past the Indian Act. determiNATION: Moving Beyond the Indian Act will include Indigenous youth, women, leaders, Elders, legal and scholarly experts, and keepers of traditional Indigenous knowledge, as well the Honourable Carolyn Bennett, Minister of Crown-Indigenous Relations and Northern Affairs.
